the challenge

The starting point.

Mandy was born as an ambitious cross-border project aiming to revolutionize how HandyMan services are booked in the Mexican and U.S. markets. Achieving that required a technology and creative partner able to build the entire digital ecosystem from scratch. The starting point demanded not only the technical development of robust mobile apps for clients and professionals, but also a comprehensive commercial positioning strategy, branding and bilingual visual identity that built immediate trust in both countries.

02 / Challenge

the difficulty

Why it wasn't obvious.

The main challenge was the extremely high technical and operational complexity of a multinational on-demand business model. Building the apps required structuring complex databases capable of handling multilingual flows, real-time geolocation and international payment gateways smoothly, plus a robust intranet for global administration. In parallel, on the marketing side, the challenge was to design a highly flexible visual identity and run aggressive, finely targeted paid advertising campaigns (SEM and social ads) across culturally distinct, demanding markets.

03 / Approach

how we solved it

Our approach.

We approached the project from an integrated engineering and growth perspective at codeX. We designed and implemented the mobile app architecture, the commercial website and a custom intranet system from scratch, backed by a high-availability, high-performance database structure. On the creative side, we developed the global brand and identity, applying it consistently across both digital and physical marketing materials. Finally, to ensure commercial success, we structured mass launch campaigns, continuously managing social media and optimizing paid advertising on Google and Meta channels to accelerate user acquisition in both regions.
